ONE Championship will close out 2022 on the road. ONE on Prime Video 5 will hail from the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila on December 2, with two outstanding matches already booked for the year-end finale.

Highly touted Roberto Soldic will step into the Circle for the first time on the card for a welterweight showdown against Murad Ramazanov. There will be no easy assignment for the Croatian’s debut as Ramazanov holds a perfect 11-0 record, including three wins inside the Circle. The welterweight showdown should have significant title implications within the division.

Soldic comes to ONE from KSW, where he was a two-division champion. “Robocop” stated plans to win titles in multiple weight divisions in ONE, as well as multiple sports. His journey begins on December 2 against a top-notch grappler who will test him from the opening bell.

Also announced for the event is the long-awaited return of ONE Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues. Rodrigues gave birth to a baby boy in 2021 and has been preparing for her return to defend the gold since. While she was away, ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion Janet Todd secured the interim Muay Thai title with a win over Lara Fernandez at ONE 159.

Todd had been after the Muay Thai crown since she came to ONE. Although capturing the interim title put her at the top of the division, unifying the straps with Rodrigues is an opportunity for her to finally stand atop the mountain alone. For Rodrigues, it’s an opportunity to reintroduce herself as the best atomweight striker on the planet and build her legacy with another impressive win.

ONE on Prime Video 5 is already off to a great start with these two matchups, but more bouts will be announced in the coming weeks as bouts are finalized. Stick around for more announcements as ONE prepares for its final event of 2022.
