Fighting Alliance Championship returns to Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri to host FAC 16: Bush vs. Nixon. The James Krause led promotion is bringing the heat with 12 fights between some of the best prospects in the Midwest region. Closing out the show is a main event in the welterweight division between UFC vet Dakota Bush (9-4) and the surging knockout artist Ivey Nixon (6-2).
After going 5-2 under the LFA banner, Dakota Bush looked like he was ready for the big show. Just 3 months removed from his 2 finish in a row, Bush got the opportunity he was looking for and got called up to the UFC. Bush didn’t have the best run with losses to Austin Hubbard and Viacheslav Borschev. Now fighting with FAC, Bush is looking to have an impressive performance that’ll grab the attention of the UFC once again. Ivey Nixon is a very hard hitting welterweight ending 3 of his 6 wins by way of knockout. With a knockout win over Glory MMA’s Mike Breeden, Nixon is looking to follow up on that performance by taking out another fighter from that gym. If Nixon secures the win tonight he could very well end up starting his own UFC career
There are several fighters stepping in the cage in tonight’s main card that train out of James Krause’s gym. Marshal Kemp (5-1), Nick Meck (3-0), Zach Scroggin (2-0) and Alan Olivas (5-2) all fight out of Glory MMA and Fitness and are looking to have a performance that’ll make them the next UFC fighter from their gym. Atomweight prospect Elle Wagman (5-0) and is now training at American Top Team.
MMA Sucka will have live coverage on FAC 16: Bush vs. Nixon, starting with the preliminary card at 8pm ET/5pm PT on FAC’s YouTube Channel followed by the main card at 10pm ET/7pm PT on UFC Fight Pass
