GLORY Collision 4 Results

A trilogy fight between Alistair Overeem and Badr Hari headlines a GLORY Collision 4 event. It takes place on Saturday, October 8 at GelreDome in Arnhem, Netherlands. The fight card also features four title bouts.

Alistair Overeem vs. Badr Hari III

The clash between two kickboxing legends was over 10 years in the making. Both fighters hold a victory over one another. The first fight took place at Dynamite!! 2008, where Overeem knocked out the Moroccan in the very first round. The rematch was a semifinal of the K-1 World Grand Prix 2009 and this time Hari managed to stop the Dutchman.

Hari stepped into GLORY’s white ring on six different occasions. He lost most of his bouts during this stint with two of them being turned into a no-contest. His most recent fight was stopped due to a fans riot at the stands

Overeem’s last kickboxing fight took place at K-1 World Grand Prix back in 2010. The Reem went on to win the entire tournament. Then he switched full-time to MMA. At one point in time, he held Strikeforce, DREAM, and K-1 heavyweight belts.

Four title fights

Super Bantamweight Champion Tiffany Van Soest will make her second defense against Sarah Moussaddak. The champ defended her title successfully at GLORY 80 and now will take on the up-and-coming opponent.

The Light Heavyweight title will be on the line after Artem Vakhitov left the promotion. This time Sergej Maslobojev and Tarik Khabez will fight for the championship gold. Khbabez will be making his divisional debut after an unsuccessful stint as a heavyweight. Maslobojev is no. 3 ranked Light Heavyweight and rides a three-fight winning streak.

A lightweight champion titleholder Tyjani Beztati will make his second defense against top-ranked challenger, Stoyan Koprivlenski. Like the headliner, this also will be a trilogy fight. Koprivlenski won their first encounter at GLORY 49 by a judges decision. The roles reversed at GLORY 62.

Petchpanomrung, who holds a featherweight title, will make his GLORY return. His previous fight in the promotion took place back in February 2020. In the meantime he competed twice in the Japanese RISE promotion, winning RISE World Super Lightweight title in the process. Now he will defend his featherweight belt against Abraham Vidales
