The LFA women’s flyweight championship will up for grabs at LFA 148, as champion Jamey-Lyn Horth takes on Sabina Mazo.
The promotion announced the match-up on Friday.

Horth (5-0) won the title at LFA 120 in December 2021. The performance was stamped with an epic third round rear-naked choke against Mayra Cantuária. The B.C. native, who trains out of Squamish began her pro career in 2018 and has racked up 5 straight finishes.
Mazo (9-4) is coming into this title fight on a three-fight losing skid. She is coming off a stint under the UFC banner and held a 3-4 record with victories over Shana Dobson, JJ Aldrich and Justine Kish.
LFA 148: Leyva vs. Brown takes place Friday, December 9th at the Commerce Casino in Commerce, #California. The main event is features two-time Olympic wrestler @Leyva Yepez, as he faces knockout artist Chris Brown for the vacant welterweight title.
The event will be available worldwide on UFC Fight Pass at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT.
