ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video will deliver nine incredible martial arts battles on Friday, January 13. The action will come to fans from the Impact Arena in Bangkok. But which of ONE Championship’s nine bouts should fans make sure to watch?

It would be easy to choose any of the title bouts. There are three sensational title tilts with two kickboxing matches and a submission grappling championship match. However, there is so much more on this card to enjoy.

Foregoing the easy choices, it’s time to dig a bit deeper into this card. When Friday comes, turn on Prime Video and get your popcorn ready. Here are three matches you absolutely cannot miss on ONE Fight Night 6.

Anissa Meksen vs. Stamp Fairtex

Mixed rule super-fights are interesting and fun. Rodtang Jitmuangnon vs. Demetrious Johnson showed that when they went toe-to-toe at ONE X. However, this particular matchup is even more compelling and could be one of the year’s best. Stamp Fairtex and Anissa Meksen are going to light up the martial arts world.

This is not just a meeting of a striker vs. a grappler or striking star vs. mixed martial artist. This is a matchup between two of the best women in all of combat sports who have ample experience in all areas. Stamp’s experience is notable. She is a former ONE Atomweight Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion. If she had never transitioned into MMA, the Thai star would have likely already battled with Meksen.

The unknown is Meksen’s grappling, but she has been vocal that she has adequate skills. The French-Algerian athlete has a background in judo and has trained in mixed martial arts prior to accepting this bout, where she has doubled down on her grappling. And Meksen doesn’t have to learn submissions. She merely has to keep the action on the feet.

In the first three minutes, fans will see two of the best exchange leather under Muay Thai rules. When the global mixed martial arts rules come into effect in the second frame, the intrigue will have fans on the edge of their seats. The mixed rules super-fight is absolutely must-see television.

Garry Tonon vs. Johnny Nunez

While there are three championship bouts on the card, the return of Garry Tonon should not go overlooked. After failing to capture the ONE Featherweight World Championship, it will be his first return to mixed martial arts competition.

Tonon is world-class on the ground, but we have yet to see how he overcomes a setback in MMA. Johnny Nunez is a good test for him in his return. The Las Vegas native has solid wrestling that could pose a problem if Tonon gets stuffed from top position. But Nunez’s striking won’t be as big of a threat as Thanh Le’s was last year.

Nunez has a chance to jump right into title contention by knocking off Tonon, who is currently ranked #2 in the division. Likewise, it is a big opportunity for Tonon to show off his skills and have an emphatic result to announce he is back. With Tang Kai now lording over the division, this is a crucial contender’s contest for both men.

Anna Jaroonsak vs. Ekaterina Vandaryeva

Following the Prime Video card, two more bouts will occur on watch.onefc.com and YouTube. The second of which should garner your attention as it is a rematch of an exciting 2022 Muay Thai scrap between Anna “Supergirl” Jaroonsak and Ekaterina Vandaryeva.

The first encounter resulted in a highly contentious split decision win for Supergirl. This rematch will give her a chance to solidify that victory or for Vandaryeva to take it back.

The three-minute rounds will supply nothing but fast-paced action. After a heated contest and hotly debated result, the rematch should be one of the matchups that fans have to tune in to witness.

ONE Fight Night 6 begins at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST on Friday, January 13. The event is free for all Amazon Prime members in the U.S. and Canada.
