ONE Friday Fights 4

ONE Friday Fights 4 will be headlined by a flyweight Muay Thai clash between Duangsompong Jitmuangnon and Batman Or.Atchariya. Both of these Thai-born athletes will be looking to make a name for themselves and are hoping to take home a $10,000 performance bonus.

Training partner of ‘The Iron Man’ Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Duangsompong is planning to walk down his opponent. In an interview with ONE Championship, he said:

“Batman’s strengths are probably his kicks and flying knees.  But I’m not afraid of them. I’ve focused on training and neutralizing his game. I just have to watch out for his punches, elbows, and counters. My game plan is to walk toward him, but I have to be more concise than before. I think this match will not go the distance because I plan to [get the finish and] receive a bonus.”

His opponent, Batman is a dangerous Muay Thai striker and plans to shut down the pressure coming from Duangsompong. While speaking to ONE in an interview, he explained:

“Duangsompong loves to knee a lot. He always throws weapons nonstop, so I have to adjust my style by trying to hit more precisely. I can’t punch or kick meaninglessly. I have to stop his pressure, and I’m ready to go all-out from the first round in this fight, as well … Because we only have three rounds to fight, we have to scramble. I don’t think this fight will go the distance because I want to win bonus money like other fighters.”

The co-main event of the evening will see hard-hitting flyweight Muay Thai strikers as Mongkolkaew Sor.Sommai  takes on Petchmuangsri Tded99. Additionally, the Italian-born Alessandro Sara is looking to add his name to the Muay Thai conversation as he faces Turkey’s Erdem Taha Dincer. At just the age of 17, Thailand’s Gusjung Fairtex will face the Chilean striker Francisca “Miss Scarface” Vera in a catchweight Muay Thai battle.

Fans will also want to keep a close eye on Ferrari Fairtex. He is one of the hottest prospects in Muay Thai today, and is set to meet Brazilian Fabio Reis in a bantamweight Muay Thai clash. The card also features additional Muay Thai bouts, plus some in kickboxing and MMA.
