ONE Championship Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong will soon be making the rounds in the U.S. for a media blitz for ONE Fight Night 10. The event is headed to the 1stBank Center in Colorado on Friday, May 5, and Sityodtong will be promoting the event to media around the country. But he may be adding a stop to Meta HQ.

Tech Giant Mark Zuckerberg Jumps into the ONE MMA World

Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg’s love affair with martial arts continues to mesmerize fans. The tech giant recently posted well wishes for Alexander Volkanovski ahead of his bid for the UFC Lightweight Championship. In the reel, Zuckerberg posted a previous meeting with Volkanovski where the two sparred in motion capture gear.“Last year, UFC #1 pound-for-pound fighter Alex Volkanovski stopped by Meta HQ to train with me and for fun we tested the limits of our performance avatars with motion capture in our Engage gear. Good luck this weekend, Alex,” wrote Zuckerberg.

Sityodtong took time to complement the skills of the Meta founder. Not only did Zuckerberg showcase his developing skill set in the light sparring session, but he was also showing off his increased athleticism. Zuckerberg has been dedicated to his training, and it continues to show itself.

Zuckerberg replied to the ONE Chairman & CEO by offering to visit Meta HQ in the near future. It was an offer Sityodtong was glad to accept and even posted that the two martial artists could train together. Sityodtong, a lifelong martial artist, has recently been promoted to brown belt in BJJ.

Zuckerberg’s vision of the future of Meta includes a vast virtual world. Showcasing what is capable through the lens of martial arts will only serve to continue pushing the sport forward across various platforms. ONE has always championed innovation, so a pairing with Meta seems like a match made in virtual heaven.
