On Monday, ONE Championship announced another title match for its on-ground U.S. debut on Friday, May 5th. The event, which will be headlined by ONE Flyweight World Champion Demetrious Johnson defending against Adriano Moraes, will now feature some submission grappling gold. Mikey Musumeci will defend the ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Title against Osamah Almarwai.

ONE Fight Night 10 now features three title tilts on the bill with the inclusion of the flyweight submission grappling belt. It was a belt that “Darth Rigatoni” won at ONE on Prime Video 2 last October against Cleber Sousa. He returned in January for his first defense against Bayanduuren Gantumur.

Musumeci has quickly taken advantage of the global stage ONE offers to ascend even further as one of submission grappling’s brightest stars. The talented American is aggressive and ruthless on the canvas. His leg locks are vicious, but he will also take a choke when it presents itself.

But Almarwai is no slouch. The 2022 IBJJF No-Gi World Champion trains under Andre Galvao at Atos BJJ. As Almarwai steps onto the global stage for the first time, he will get a chance to derail the hype of Musumeci and take his gold.

The outstanding submission grappling battle is another exciting addition to an increasingly stacked card in Colorado. Fans will see world title bouts in mixed martial arts, Muay Thai, and submission grappling. It is looking to be an unforgettable night inside the 1stBank Center when ONE debuts on U.S. soil.

ONE Fight Night 10 airs live on Prime Video on Friday, May 5. It is free to all U.S. and Canadian Amazon Prime members. Tickets for the event are on sale now via Axs.com.
