Bellator returns in 2023 as this Saturday, February 25th, a staggering 18 fights are scheduled to take place in the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

Headlining the massive card is a welterweight rematch between current champion Yaroslav Amosov and interim champion Logan Storley.

Amosov had taken a hiatus from the cage as he went to his home in Ukraine to aid in the war against Russia. Meanwhile, Storley secured a split decision victory against Michael ‘Venom’ Page to be crowned the interim champion. Amasov defeated Storley in a close split decision win in their first meeting.

Both men are grappling specialists, and their first fight showed that their skills in that department often cancelled the other’s out. Should it be a slugfest on the feet again, Amosov should have the edge.

Storley did find some success on the ground, as the interim champion could head in that route once again, dictating the pace of the fight, and securing ground control but against Amasov that is better said than done.

In the co-main event, featherweights Jeremy Kennedy and Pedro Carvalho are set to lock horns. Both men are ranked in the top 5 as Kennedy comes in as the fifth-ranked featherweight and Carvalho at third, so chances are the winner will have a strong case for a potential title shot.

The rest of the card features a heavy dose of Irish competitors, as Peter Queally, Sinead Kavanagh, Ciaran Clarke, and Charlie Ward are set to appear in front of the Irish fan base.

The Bellator 291 prelims air live on YouTube starting at 11:30 a.m. ET, followed by the main card on Showtime at 4 p.m. ET. Check out the full preview and predictions below.
