KSW 80 Results

KSW 80 takes place on Friday, March 17 in Lubin. The fight card features 10 bouts and is headlined by an interim featherweight title fight between Robert Ruchała and Lom-Ali Eskiev.

Originally Ruchała was scheduled to take on Dawid Śmiełowski. However, the Ankos MMA gym fighter suffered an injury and had to withdraw from the bout. Eskiev has stepped in and now he will have a chance to win the championship gold.

KSW interim featherweight title fight

The representative of Grappling Kraków has not yet experienced defeat in his professional career. In the last performance, Ruchała defeated Damian Stasiak via a unanimous decision. The 24-year-old Nowy Sącz native is considered one of the top Polish prospects.

Eskiev, on the other hand, is well known on the European mixed martial arts circuit. At KSW 77 he lost via unanimous decision to Daniel Rutkowski. Now he steps in having only one month to prepare. Interestingly enough he defeated Stasiak at KSW 65.

The reigning KSW featherweight champion is Salahdine Parnasse. However, the Frenchman is also the interim lightweight champion. At XTB KSW Colloseum 2 he will face Marian Ziółkowski and the winner will become the undisputed ruler of the lightweight division.

Rest of the card:

In the co-main event, Tom Breese will trade blows with Bartosz Leśko. Also, Oumar Sy, Michał Michalski, and Emilia Czerwińska will be in action.
