Fans are eagerly awaiting to see what happens as this Lumpinee Stadium event is stacked. In the main event, ‘The Immortal” Regian Eersel will battle the heavy-handed Thai-born striker Sinsamut Klinmee with the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Championship on the line. This is a rematch from their exciting world title showdown in 2022 at ONE on Prime Video 3.

Regian Eersel is a two-sport world champion who holds ONE gold in kickboxing as well. The Kickboxing and Muay Thai world titleholder spoke with Beyond Kick last year. He said:

“I’m moving to Muay Thai because it’s a new challenge for me. I got the opportunity from ONE Championship to fight for the … Muay Thai World title and I immediately said yes. I like challenges, life is a challenge. Without the challenge, you don’t live. You have to challenge yourself and I’m doing that right now.”

Thailand’s Sinsamut Klinmee will be well known to fight fans recognizing his knockout wins against Liam Nolan and Nieky Holzken. In an interview with ONE Championship, he said:

“Fighting with ONE is my first dream come true. So, from now on, it’s time for me to set a new, bigger goal. Previously, I wasn’t sure if I was good enough for ONE to accept me because I never won a [World Championship]. But I thought that even if I wasn’t a champion, I would take a belt from a champion to become a champion. And, I must be the ONE World Champion.”

Aside from the world title main event, ONE Friday Fights 9 will also feature crowd favorites such as Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai facing Muangthai PK Saenchai, former ONE Muay Thai world champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, Chaongoh Jitmuangnon, current BKFC Asia champion Fani Peloumpi, and the unforgettable Seksan Or Kwanmuang, among many more.
