LFA follows up an amazing card in Brazil by heading to New York State, the last state to legalize the sport, and they do so with an interim title fight at the top of the card. LFA 155 will take place at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino in Niagara Falls.
The main event will feature an interim bantamweight title bout as mentioned when Rafael do Nascimento and Jerrell Hodge. Both men possess finishing ability but the advantage does lean toward do Nascimento. He is also 2-0 under the LFA banner, including a showstopping finish of highly-touted prospect Justin Wetzell in his last fight at LFA 147. Meanwhile, this will be the promotional debut for “Thunderkat” Hodge as he looks to make a good first impression on the fans in New York.
In the co-main event, we will see a featherweight bout as Rafael Barbosa meets Marion Santos. Both men have a combined record of 26-5 with 16 finishes between the two of them. This fight should be a short one as both men have something to prove with recent losses on their record in LFA.
Also on the card is the promotional debut of “Big Tuna” Ben Parrish, who quickly became a fan favorite in Bellator following his win over Christian Edwards at Bellator 266. He will battle Glory kickboxing veteran Joe Taylor, who is undefeated at 4-0 in MMA. Two exciting flyweight fights Round out the main card as Cody Davis faces Joseph Camacho and Rodney Kealohi fights Alvaro Prado.
The action can be seen on UFC Fight Pass starting at 9 PM ET / 6 PM PT.
