Heavyweights Marcelo Golm and Daniel James highlight the evening as the main event while Cat Zingano and Leah McCourt square off in a featherweight battle in the co-main event.

MMASucka has fight fans covered with fight-by-fight results of Bellator 293. The preliminary card kicks off at 7 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. CT  live on YouTube with the main card starting at 10 p.m. ET/ 9 p.m. CT live on ShowTime.

Bellator 293 Main Event: Golm vs James

In the main event, Marcelo Golm will welcome Daniel James in what is sure to be a don’t blink bout. Marcelo Golm, who currently sits as the #5 ranked heavyweight, is enjoying a four-fight win streak with two straight wins in the Scott Coker promotion. Golm last fought at Bellator 283, finding a last minute submission victory over Davion Franklin.

Daniel “The American Predator” James jumped into the heavyweight rankings with a crowd shocking finish of Tyrell Fortune at Bellator 288. This pivotal heavyweight matchup could line up the next challenger for the Bellator heavyweight title

Co-Main Event: Zingano vs McCourt

Since making her debut to Bellator in 2020, Cat Zingano has displayed utter dominance. Finding a submission victory over Olivia Parker and earning two unanimous decision nods over Gabrielle Holloway and Pam Sorenson, “Alpha” has found herself amongst the top of the featherweight division.

Her opponent, long time Bellator MMA staple Leah McCourt, posts an impressive 6-1 record with her time in Bellator. After falling to Sinead Kavanagh at Bellator 275, McCourt bounced back with a unanimous decision victory at Bellator 285.

This fight should prove to be one of the better matchups in the women’s 145-lb. division and could likely see the winner meet with Cris Cyborg in the next title matchup.

Rest of the Card

Up and coming Niagara Top Team member Aaron Jeffery welcomes 24-fight vet John Salter in the feature middleweight fight of the night. Undefeated fighters Archie Colgan and Justin Montalvo will throwdown at 155 and Sullivan Cauley will do battle with Luke Trainer in the opening fight of the main card.
