Cage Warriors 152 is just days away where fight fans will see the highly coveted promotion return once more to the Bowlers Exhibition Centre also known as the BEC Arena. The last time the promotion was in Manchester was when Christian Leroy Duncan defended his title for the final time and Jimmy Wallhead captured interim gold in what was a captivating evening.

George Hardwick Looks to Defend Lightweight Title Against Yann Liasse at Cage Warriors 152

Cage Warriors 152 will be headlined by a lightweight title fight between current champion, George Hardwick (11-1), and Yann Liasse (9-1). It is thought that Hardwick is just one fight away from the UFC but with how active the current Cage Warriors champion likes to be, it could be more probable that Hardwick would fight once more in Cage Warriors.

Liasse will be looking to steal Hardwick’s shine by taking  the title and becoming the man to beat at lightweight.

In the co-main event of the evening, Nathan Fletcher returns to action after a back-and-forth performance against Alessandro Giordano . Fletcher will be eager to further prove why he deserves a title fight by putting on a clinical showing once more when he takes on Dutch fighter Daan Duijs. Duijs, who was originally scheduled to face Reece McEwan, had to pull out due to a staph infection

Andy Clamp will do battle with the  rising prospect Ghassan Abdenabi, who is currently 4-0 as a professional. This fight either sees Clamp move towards title contention or Abdenabi get that step up and establishes himself as a top light heavyweight in the promotion.

James Power returns to action after having one of the best debuts in the promotion back in 2022 when he put on an MMA masterclass against Irish talent Adam Shelley. Power will be taking on long-time Cage Warriors veteran and former title contender Łukasz Kopera.

The card also sees the return of the self-proclaimed king of France and soon-to-be king of Cage Warriors, Adam Cullen who opens the main card. Now 6-0 professionally, The Next Generation MMA fighter looks to further prove his levelwhen he takes on Italian prospect, Dumitru Girlean.

Prelim Spotlight

The prelims feature Cage Warriors debutants Chris “Crazy” Price and Leuan Davies. These two prospects have captured regional titles in their careers, fighting on shows such as Full Contact Contender and UKFC.

Returning prospect Luke Riley will face an undefeated 2-0 fighter in Kallum Parker. Riley has fought in Manchester before and is no stranger to the captivating BEC Arena crowd where he previously won via KO against Karol Kutyła.

A fight for the fans takes place on the prelims with 2 UK veterans Chris Bungard and “Mr. Big Tasty”, Gavin Hughes. Both fighters have earned their stripes during their respective careers. Bungard, who has twenty-five professional fights under his belt, last challenged for the lightweight title but ultimately fell short. Hughes enters the contest coming off of two straight losses, but has shown promise in his young career with nine of his ten victories coming by way of finish.

Antonio Sheldon is set to compete after a standout performance in his last effort.  Sheldon will face Wilson Orlando Prins right at the start of the card.
