On Wednesday, the Hobart Police Department arrested 24-year-old professional combat sports athlete Emanuel Pugh following a standoff with S.W.A.T.

Pugh, who is now being held at the Lake County Jail, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery with a Deadly Weapon. The charge holds a $7,500 cash bond in Indiana.

Pugh found internet fame with his involvement with the controversial, but incredibly popular backyard fight league, STREETBEEFS. Utilizing the nickname, “Memnon Warrior”, Pugh earned six victories while competing in “Satan’s Backyard” and found his name on their Wall of Fame.

With his internet rise with STREETBEEFS, Pugh found reasonable success on the amateur MMA circuit, posting a 6-3 record. Pugh turned pro in 2021, losing his debut fight against Austin Bashi. Since then he has competed twice, losing both times. In 2022, he lost his professional boxing debut.

If convicted, Pugh could be face between one and six years in prison.
