KSW 82: Hooi vs. Grzebyk Results

Poland’s premier fighting organization KSW will be returning to Warsaw on Saturday, May 13 for a seven-fight event: KSW 82: Hooi vs. Grzebyk.

The event will be available on online PPV through KSW TV for the majority of countries around the world.

Featured Bouts

The main event will see Dutch fighter Brian Hooi take on Andrzej Grzebyk. The fight could determine the next title challenger for KSW’s welterweight strap, with Hooi being ranked third in the welterweight division and Grzebyk being ranked fourth. Hooi is a ferocious striker with a penchant for quick knockouts, while Grzebyk is a dangerous kill-or-be-killed finisher himself.

In the co-main, KSW’s recently dethroned bantamweight champion Sebastian Przybysz will seek to bounce back against Filip Maca, a former Oktagon title challenger making his KSW debut. Przybrsz lost his belt via a slim split decision and will no doubt be desperate to get back to winning ways as soon as possible, while Maca has a golden opportunity to make his own case for a title shot in his very first fight in the organization.

Rest of the Card

Another high profile bout will see Ukranian Bogdan Gnidko battling Rafał Kijańczuk at light heavyweight. In addition, Cage Warriors alumni Donovan Desmae will lock horns with Georgian veteran Raul Tutarauli. Desmae challenged for the Cage Warriors Lightweight strap and lost by split decision, giving him a lot to prove in KSW. Tutarauli on the other hand has had a lot of experience in fearsome organizations like ACA and M-1.

Also on the card will be a women’s strawweight contest between Anita Bekus and Aleksandra Toncheva, a lightweight clash between Gracjan Szadziński and Wilson Varela, and a catchweight matchup between Robert Maciejowski and Wiktor Zalewski at 174.2 lbs.
