ONE Fight Night 12 will hit Prime Video on Friday, July 14, and ONE Championship has announced two prime time bouts for the event. The main event will see kickboxing gold up for grabs. Lumpinee Boxing Stadium will again play host as the stars shine in another exciting evening of martial arts action in Bangkok.

Garry Tonon and Roman Kryklia to Top ONE Fight Night 12 Card

Roman Kryklia will see his name on the marquee once more as the ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Champion defends his gold against Francesko Xhaja. Following his triumph in the ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix, Kryklia returns to defend his crown. But the Ukrainian will have another heavy-handed foe to face.

Xhaja will step in the ring looking to put the first blemish on Kryklia’s ONE record. “Smile” earned his title opportunity with a narrow split decision victory over Andrei Stoica at ONE Fight Night 7 in February. The main event opportunity will force Xhaja to be at his best to topple one of the most imposing figures in kickboxing today.

Also announced for the card, featherweight contenders Garry Tonon and Shamil Gasanov will tangle inside the ring. It is a match that Gasanov has been calling for in recent months. Undoubtedly, the winner will shoot up into a prime position to challenge the eventual winner between ONE Featherweight World Champion Tang Kai and Thanh Le.

Tonon is currently ranked #3 in the division and is coming off a quick submission win over Johnny Nunez. Likewise, “Cobra” grabbed a first-round submission in his promotional debut against Kim Jae Woong. The unbeaten Russian will try to show his grappling against one of the world’s most dominant submission artists to get to the top of the division.

ONE Fight Night 12 airs live on Prime Video on Friday, July 14. The action begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The event is free for all U.S. and Canadian Amazon Prime members.
