BRAVE CF, the self-described “only truly global mixed martial arts promotions in the world” is back in the Kingdom of Bahrain for BRAVE CF 72. The BRAVE CF featherweight championship will be contested in Friday’s main event as Roman Bogatov defends his title against Nemat Abdrashitov.

Fight fans can catch BRAVE CF 72 streaming live on DAZN beginning at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT for the prelims, with the main card set to get underway two hours later.

BRAVE CF Featherweight Championship — Bogatov vs. Abdrashitov

Friday’s main event is a highly anticipated matchup which promises an exciting clash of styles that should captivate fight fans. Both fighters have expressed their determination to secure a finish and emerge victorious from BRAVE CF 72.

Bogatov, the reigning champion, is currently experiencing the most successful phase of his career. Initially underestimated after a wacky end to his abbreviated run in the UFC, the 14-1 BRAVE CF champion has more than proven his worth. Training at Bali MMA in Indonesia and residing in Kyrgyzstan, his opponent’s home country, Bogatov aims to continue the tradition of successful BRAVE CF Featherweight title defenses. His wrestling skills may serve as the decisive factor, allowing him to dominate the grappling aspect and neutralize his opponent’s striking advantage. He also has a habit of pressuring his opponents in all moments of the fight, so there may be little breathing room for the challenger.

On the other side, challenger Nemat Abdrashitov, is known for his massive knockout power. With three impressive knockout stoppages under the BRAVE CF banner, he aspires to become the second Kyrgyz champion in the promotion’s history, following in the footsteps of his friend and teammate Abdisalam Kubanychbek who recently got the job done. Despite an up-and-down journey in the sport, Abdrashitov is a fighter who exudes confidence. If he can put Bogatov’s lights out, he will be the first man to do so and stake his claim as a future promotional star.

Rest of the Card

The co-main event will see Magomed Idrisov and Bidzina Gavashelishvili meet in an exciting clash of styles. BRAVE CF co-mani events typically feature action fighters, and this bout is no exception. Idrisov will be putting his unbeaten record on the line, and the winner could be ticketed for a shot at the BRAVE CF flyweight championship.

Elsewhere on the card, Rasul Magomedov, another impressive KHK heavyweight talent will collide with Mohamed Hisham Baraka. Magomedov is making his professional debut following a 13-0 amateur career. He also owns a key win over American Kyle Snyder on the wrestling mats, and will always be a tough out so long as he is competing in mixed martial arts.

Meanwhile, Mohsen Mohammedseifi will look to make a statement when he fights Noor El Islam at lightweight on the prelim. Mohammedseifi has been compared to Cristiano Ronaldo by the BRAVE CF president, being highlighted as the “Ronaldo of Wushu Sanda.” Though Lionel Messi may have been a more apt comparison, Mohammedseifi will nonetheless look to flash the knockout power on the prelims.
