On Friday, August 4th, Tawanchai PK Saenchai will try to establish himself as a top kickboxing contender. But that bout is not his only concern. On Friday, October 6th, he will defend the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Championship against Superbon Singha Mawynn.
Massive Muay Thai Showdown Slated for ONE Fight Night 15

ONE Championship announced the massive featherweight Muay Thai clash today. The incredible striking masterclass between two of the most exciting strikers on the planet will be a part of ONE Fight Night 15 on Prime Video. It will be a difficult matchup to top.
Win or lose at ONE Fight Night 13 against Davit Kiria, Tawanchai will have to return to the ring in two months’ time. The reigning Muay Thai king is on an incredible run, winning seven of his last eight outings. His only loss was a narrow split decision to Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in 2021.
He has been near flawless in his five other victories in ONE, with four sensational knockout victories under his belt. In his last outing, he defended the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Championship with a 49-second leg kick knockout over Jamal Yusupov that showed his incredible kicking power. But Superbon poses a new set of challenges.
The 32-year-old put together a remarkable 12-bout winning streak en route to winning the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix. He followed that up by starching all-time great Giorgio Petrosyan to claim the kickboxing gold. However, he lost the strap to Chingiz Allazov after just one title defense.
Superbon quickly got back in the win column at ONE Fight Night 11 over Tayfun Ozcan with a second-round KO. It reestablished him as a top contender for kickboxing but also opened the door for him to return to Muay Thai and challenge Tawanchai for his title. It set the stage for this colossal showdown.
Although Tawanchai has a date set against Kiria at ONE Fight Night 13, it is difficult not to look ahead at this amazing title tilt. As the seasons change, Tawanchai vs. Superbon will be a marquee bout for the third quarter of 2023. No matter what else is announced for ONE Fight Night 15, Tawanchai vs. Superbon may be the single best matchup of the fall.
