Jonathan Haggerty and Fabricio Andrade will no longer compete on October 6. Instead, the two stars have been promoted to main event status for ONE Fight Night 16. The ONE Championship bantamweight kings will compete for the vacant ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Championship on Friday, November 3.

One man will walk out of Lumpinee Boxing Stadium with two-sport gold. Haggerty is looking to claim the kickboxing crown to complement his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title. Andrade is hoping to achieve two-sport glory after becoming the ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion.

Haggerty made the move up in weight earlier in 2023. He entered as a big underdog to a living legend, Nong-O Hama, at ONE Fight Night 9. In a shock to the Muay Thai world, the Brit not only upended Nong-O but defeated him by a staggering first-round KO.

But Andrade should not be counted out. Although he has run through the bantamweight division in MMA, he is plenty experienced in kickboxing as well. “Wonder Boy” brings an impressive 40-3 career record in the sport into this champion vs. champion title tilt.

The shift to ONE Fight Night 16 will see both men given the spotlight in the main event. With an additional four weeks of preparation, fans should expect both men to arrive in Bangkok in peak form. One man will walk out of the ring with two gold belts and bragging rights of being the best bantamweight martial artist on the planet.

ONE Fight Night 16 airs live on Prime Video on Friday, November 3. The action begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The event is free for all Amazon Prime members located in the U.S. and Canada.
