Tom Aspinall, Britain’s great heavyweight hope has introduced a huge heavyweight into his gym ahead of an equally huge potential fight on the horizon. None other than the 2017 World’s Strongest Man, multiple time world record holder and failed boxer, Eddie Hall has travelled up to Wigan to mix it with Aspinall and his team.

Of course, we don’t for one second believe that this has had any benefit for England’s Aspinall, however, it will certainly offer him a new look. Standing at 6’2 and weighing a career heaviest of 434lbs, The Beast will certainly provide Aspinall with challenges he will have never faced before, even if the training is just ‘for fun’.

The two men have likely linked up to film something for Hall’s YouTube channel. On the channel, Hall often films with various celebrities, partaking in their specialities. For example, ahead of his Jake Paul fight, Hall trained with Tommy Fury. He’s also trained with the Great Britain Sumo team, with great effect.

It’s great exposure for Aspinall, who is certainly making himself inside the Octagon, however, it’s always good to get ‘over’ in the mainstream.

Most recently, Aspinall put on arguably the best performance of his career when he blitzed through the well-respected, Marcin Tybura in a little over a minute.

He’s looking for a fight with French heavyweight, Ciryl Gane after his win in Paris last month. Gane doesn’t seem to be entertaining the idea, however, and is more focussed on a title shot.

It’s also worth noting that in the picture posted to Aspinall’s Instagram features the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring female super-middleweight champion, Savannah Marshall. As we know, Marshall is set to make her PFL debut soon having recently signed with the promotion in an exciting acquisition for the company.
