The stars of tomorrow will be out in full force on Sunday, when the seventh edition of the Fury FC Challenger Series takes place live from Imagen Venues in Houston, Texas.

The main event will see a pair of promotional mainstays face off, when Abdul Kamara meets Casey Jones in the 135-pound division. In addition, there will be a slew of hungry, talented prospects under the Fury FC banner looking to prove themselves, in addition to a six-fight amateur preliminary card set to open the show.

Fight fans can catch Fury Challenger Series 7 streaming live on UFC Fight Pass Facebook page, beginning at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. PT. The amateur prelims can be seen live on the Fury FC YouTube channel.

Fury Challenger Series 7 Main Card Breakdown

Kamara is a fighter who has rapidly improved inside the confines of Fury FC, and it is somewhat surprising he didn’t get the call to be on the current season of Dana White’s Contender Series. “Scratch” trains out the MMA Lab, and he will be taking on a fighter in Jones who has more than double the amount of fights he has. He is, however, coming off a victory in his most recent fight, and win over Kamara would certainly be a feather in the veteran’s cap.

This week’s show was scheduled to see a co-main event of Dimitre Ivy taking on Justice Torres, but Ivy withdrew earlier in the week. Instead, Torres will be taking on Pena Allamov, a 2-1 Fury FC mainstay who has gone to the judges scorecards in all three professional bouts. Torres, himself, is a 7-1 featherweight who is looking to get back on track after suffering his first career defeat.

Elsewhere on the main card, unbeaten Kody Steele will have a tough out in front of him in Nico Echeverry. Echeverry has had a rough go of things lately. He fell to Tedrick Macklin in one of the most questionable judging decision’s of the year outside the confines of major organizations, and his most recent fight against Junior Maranhão ended in a no contest following an accidental foul. In spite of this, the veteran is no slouch, whatsoever, and would represent the biggest win of Steele’s career to date.
