Stamp Fairtex has finally had a chance to take in her historic victory at ONE Fight Night 14. The Thai star defeated Ham Seo Hee to become the ONE Atomweight MMA World Champion in Singapore to become the first-ever three-sport World Champion. That mark in history has made the ONE Championship star the most proud.
“I feel really proud and happy that I have achieved the three-sport World Titles. I think I’m the only person to achieve this feat,” Stamp told ONE.
But it was not something she expected when she arrived in Singapore. The match was slated to be for the interim crown while Angela Lee remained on the sidelines. However, Lee made it known to both women before the fight that she would actually be retiring from active competition. That meant the interim title would come off, and the winner would be undisputed.

Following her spectacular third-round TKO, Stamp got to wear the gold. But what made the moment even more special was that she got to have her idol, Lee, give her the championship. The emotional passing of the torch was a special moment for Stamp.
“I was very overwhelmed because Angela herself was passing her belt to me. I remember the last time I had a fight with her, she told me herself that I would be the next champ, and I feel very honored about that,” Stamp said.
Lee is stepping away from competition but will remain a part of martial arts through her organization. After telling the world of her sister’s tragic passing and revealing that she attempted suicide in her own past, Lee created Fightstory. The organization is built on giving athletes a platform to share their stories and advocate for mental health awareness.
Stamp was happy to share her own story in the wake of winning the gold. She grew up poor in Thailand but has found stardom through her martial arts skills. And she will continue to inspire her fans with her unwavering fighter spirit.
“So my Fightstory would be, in my childhood with my family when I was growing up, we were poor, and we didn’t have a lot in terms of financials. Also, when I was a teenager, I had my heart broken, which left me with nothing. That’s how I realized that I only had my family, and they’ll always be there for me. Also, Fairtex [Gym] is my family as well, apart from my actual family, so that’s what my Fightstory is about,” Stamp said.
