One of the most anticipated DAZN X Series cards of the year is finally here, as fans of the YouTube boxing scene will be treated to two fights with plenty of heat attached to them. Fresh off his victory over Jake Paul, former reality television star Tommy Fury will finally get his hands on JJ “KSI” Olatunji, the leader of the YouTube boxing movement.
The co-main event is arguably the bigger fight, however, drawing plenty of interest from all kinds of fans. Logan Paul will return to the ring for the first time since going the distance with Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition bout when he finally gets his grudge match with MMA fighter, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu wiz, and certifiable internet troll Dillon Danis.
Fight fans can catch DAZN X Series: The Prime Card on DAZN pay-per-view, with the main card set to begin at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT.
Main Event — KSI vs. Fury
KSI has run roughshod on the YouTube boxing scene, and quickly established himself as a king of the medium and one of its innovators. Since his fight with Logan Paul nearly four years ago, KSI has gone on to win each of his ensuing three professional fights with knockouts within the first three rounds. In spite of this, it’s tough to gauge where KSI stands as a 4-0 professional boxer. Saturday should shed some light on this question, however, as Tommy Fury was able to edge Jake Paul, who has fought a tougher level of competition than KSI, back in February of this year.

In doing so, Fury answered many questions about himself, and appears to be on his way to becoming a reputable name in boxing. He’ll need to keep it rolling against KSI, however, who is yet to face much adversity in his career. The most amount of opposition “JJ” has felt was against Paul, his former rival-turned-business partner. KSI won a split decision, though there was certainly an argument to be made for Paul being the one to have his hand raised. Win, lose, or draw, however, the KSI brand should be as big as ever coming off of Saturday night.
Co-Main Event — Logan Paul vs. Danis
There is no love lost between Logan Paul and Dillon Danis, who have been relentlessly chiding each other in the media, and more specifically on social media, since this fight announcement was made. The barbs the two have shared with one another have bled into the personal lives of each fighter, and legal action has even been threatened from the Paul side. Danis, meanwhile, has threatened to pull out on multiple occasions, but as of now, it seems as though this fight will go forward as planned despite a testy press conference face-off, to say the least.

As for the fight itself, Paul finds himself a massive favorite, likely due to Danis’ lackluster striking in the MMA, let alone his boxing capabilities. However, Paul has not fought since that exhibition with Mayweather two years ago. In fact, he’s spent plenty of time wrestling on big WWE stages, even wrestling Seth Rollins in a match at this past year’s WrestleMania. That won’t help him in the boxing ring, as it’s been his brother, Jake Paul, who has taken over the family mantle in the boxing ring. Nevertheless, Paul will look to reestablish himself within the YouTube boxing space before returning to WWE.
Also on Saturday’s main card, the new and improved Salt Papi will be in action, taking on Slim Albaher in the featured fight. Also of note, ex-MMA fighter Anthony Taylor makes his return to the boxing ring when he takes on King Kenny.
