ONE Championship has been surging over the last 12 months. 2023 has seen a rise in the total number of events, and viewership has continued to climb thanks to its global broadcasting deals. With the year drawing to a close, ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong appeared on CNBC Asia to discuss ONE’s business and its outlook for 2024.

ONE CEO Says Promotion is on Track for ‘$100 Million in revenue for 2023’, 2024 to Hit $200 Million

“This morning, I gave a live interview on CNBC Asia’s Squawk Box to share the good news that ONE has hit escape velocity in terms of business fundamentals. According to Nielsen, ONE is now the #1 most watched combat sports property in the world and ranks among the top 10 largest sports properties on the planet in terms of viewership. ONE is on track to hit north of US$100m in revenues for 2023 and approximately US$200m in revenues for 2024,” the ONE Chairman and CEO stated,” Sityodtong wrote on Facebook.

ONE’s growth has been evident over the last few years. Its metrics for viewership have competed alongside the NBA and other global sports properties on Nielsen’s annual sports report. The organization began its foray into the U.S. market this year, with ONE Fight Night 10 going down at the sold-out 1stBank Center in Denver, Colorado, in May, and Sityodtong is confident that ONE’s success there will help push its profitability in the coming year.

With the development of the ONE Friday Fights event series, ONE has tripled its events in 2023. The weekly series that airs for free on YouTube in the U.S. has supplied some of the most exciting martial arts action of the year. Sityodtong was adamant that ONE is on track to be profitable in the second half of the year as they continue to return and expand into select regions.

“Our viewership metrics are up triple digits in terms of percentage growth as our live events have tripled to 60 in 2024 vs 20 in 2023. Amazingly, ONE is now broadcast live every week to over 190 countries around the world. Most importantly though, ONE is on track to hit profitability in its core business by the second half of 2024,” Sityodtong said.

The company is looking at a huge 2024 campaign. The company is slated to return to Japan in the new year, and are expecting multiple events in the U.S. as well. Along with its debut in Qatar, ONE is ready to shine across the global as the new year gets underway.
