Coventry’s own, Melissa ‘No Mess’ Mullins sat down with MMASucka to discuss several topics, revealing some industry secrets along the way!

The undefeated, newly ranked bantamweight is just 1-0 in the UFC so far, however, she has already made quite the splash. After winning her debut back in October, Mullins competed in the IBJJF Worlds, where she won gold in not only her own weight class but also the open weight category at brown belt.

Mullins sat down with fellow Coventrian, Frazer Krohn to discuss her UFC debut, how it was to train in the United States and how she’s adapting to life with a new team.

She also gives a fantastic insight into what the UFC Performance Institute is really like for a UFC athlete. From nutritional advice, recovery and fight week in the PI, Mullins provides a behind-the-scenes look that fight fans often don’t get to see.

No Mess also talks about her upcoming fight on April 6th against Frenchwoman, Nora Cornolle. Both women are 1-0 in the world’s premier organisation and will be looking to keep that good form in Las Vegas. Mullins talks about how her grappling is where she thinks she’ll dominate this fight as well as how working with a new team will affect her game.

The interview is rounded out with Mullins discussing her plans for the rest of 2024 and potential title push going forward.
