“The Gremlin” was expected to be on Dana White’s Contender Series, however, a serious health scare, which almost took his life stopped that from happening. Many thought he would never compete again, but after a major hiatus and getting the medical issues taken care of, Siraj made a successful return in 2023.

At BFL 77, Siraj earned a very dominating unanimous decision victory over Esteban Sedano.
