ONE Championship has unveiled two super-fights for its return to the United States on Friday, September 6, per the Denver Post. After a sterling debut in May 2023, ONE will make landfall back in Denver, Colorado, for ONE 168. The event will take place inside the Ball Arena and feature some of the company’s biggest names.
Stamp Fairtex will make her second appearance in Denver. Last year, the Thai superstar beat Alyse Anderson to stand out as a top contender in the atomweight division. Now, as the division’s queen, she will try for a second belt when she meets ONE Women’s Strawweight MMA World Champion Xiong Jing Nan.
Stamp has been rewriting the history books since her debut, but now is a bigger challenge in the strawweight division. The Chinese star has dominated the strawweight division and has been its only champion to date. The matchup will put two of the best women on the planet against each other, each trying to add to their stellar legacies.
ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing and Muay Thai World Champion Jonathan Haggerty will come to the U.S. to defend the Muay Thai crown. Standing across from the Brit will be ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek Kiatmoo9. It will be a meeting of two of the best pound-for-pound strikers in the world.
Superlek is coming off a defense of his kickboxing title against Takeru Segawa. The Thai star has been calling for Haggerty, and now he will get him on a massive platform. “The General” has been impeccable since moving up to the bantamweight division, and this will be a sensational title tilt for all to see.
