MMA’s version of ‘March Madness’ is over with as we open up the month of April.

A whole lot of action going on this week and we’re not just talking about the UFC. Multiple promotions are on deck with shows across the world. From the PFL in the west to ONE Championship in the east, there’s no shortage of fights at your fingertips.

If you’re a fan of mixed martial arts, you know there’s not much of an off-season in the sport. However, such a thing exists in the Professional Fighter’s League, but not for much longer.

This upcoming Thursday, ‘PFL 1’ is set to kick off their regular season format in San Antonio, Texas.

The heavyweight and women’s flyweight divisions are on full display in the Lone Star State. Former PFL Champion Ante Delija battles ex-Bellator fighter and interim titleholder Valentin Moldavsky in the main event. A somewhat unnecessary trilogy also takes place between a pair of former champs in Liz Carmouche vs. Juliana Velasquez, who are crossing over from the bought-out Bellator promotion.

Some notable names on the card are former UFC title challenger Taila Santos, ex-UFC contender Blagoy Ivanov and returning PFL Europe Champion Dakota Ditcheva.

You can watch PFL 2 on ESPN+ this Thursday, Apr. 4.

The LFA returns to Minnesota for a Friday night of fights. The LFA Interim Flyweight Championship is on the line in the main event between Brazil’s Igor Siqueira and the undefeated Eimar Hernandez. There’s a ton of rising prospects to keep on, including the likes of Isaac Thomson, Wes Schultz and Vietnamese knockout artist Quang ‘Bang’ Le.

We’re also in for a ONE Championship double-header on Friday, with ONE Friday Fights 58 in the morning and ONE Fight Night 21 at night. In the latter headliner, Regian Eersel and Alexis Nicolas fight for the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing Championship.

You can watch ONE Friday Fights 58 on YouTube & ONE Fight Night 21 on Amazon Prime Video.

Don’t forget what’s happening down in Dublin, Ireland as Cage Warriors 170 takes place. The vacant welterweight championship is up for grabs as fighting Irish James Sheehan is slated to face Switzerland’s Daniel Konrad in the main event.

Last and definitely not least is UFC Vegas 90. The fight night event is headlined by a high-stakes rematch between top contenders Brendan Allen and Chris Curtis. The middleweights meet almost three years after their first fight at UFC Vegas 44, where Curtis TKO’ed Allen in the second round.

Allen hasn’t lost since, putting together an impressive six-fight win streak. ‘The Action Man’ Curtis got back into his groove earlier this year with a split decision win over Marc-André Barriault at UFC 297. Curtis debuted in the UFC in 2021 and is 5-2 (1 NC) in the Octagon.

Featherweights face off in the co-headliner as Alexander Hernandez locks horns with Damon Jackson. We previewed this weekend’s card on the MMASucka podcast:
