One week ago, BYB Extreme Fighting Series, or simply BYB, hosted its 25th event, BYB 25: Brawl on the Bay, in Tampa Bay, Florida. The event featured a seven-fight main card with the third fight of the card being a welterweight scrap between 34-year-old Rusty Crowder and 28-year-old Harry Gigliotti. The fight was scheduled for three, five-minute rounds, and with neither fighter giving in to the opposition, the fight went the distance. A unanimous decision nod was given in favor of Gigliotti, and shortly after the fight, Crowder posted a gruesome pic of the damage he absorbed.

“Rowdy” took to Facebook to share the aftermath of his battle with Gigliotti. Although heavily battered, the grizzled bareknuckle vet seemed undaunted, posting a couple days later a healing image. Bareknuckle is a brutal sport and if anyone has forgotten this, Crowder is here to serve you a bloody reminder.
