Daily Fantasy Picks commence.
UFC 300 goes down this weekend and is arguably the biggest fight card in UFC history. If you don’t think so, just look at the fights below. There are a slough of former champions and many stars that have made a household name on the docket.
We are going to go over the fight card and the daily fantasy picks on DraftKings. This is the first of the series and the only reason we are going over the entire fight card is because it is stacked.
UFC 300 Main Card On ESPN+ PPV (10 p.m. ET)
Alex Pereira vs. Jamahal Hill
DK Salaries: Pereira ($8,300), Hill ($7,900)
We all know Pereira is a power puncher and a two-division champ. However, the former champ, who didn’t lose his title is as durable as they come. Both combatants have the chance to knock the other one out, and if I’m a guessing man or here we will say a betting man — durability will prevail.
DraftKings Pick: Jamahal Hill
Zhang Weili vs. Yan Xiaonan
DK Salaries: Zhang ($9,200), Yan ($7,000)
Zhang Weili may be the easiest pick on this card. She is good everywhere this fight goes, including the ground, which is where Xiaonan will try to take this. You won’t see Weili on her back very often and from a points perspective, she just makes sense.

Justin Gaethje vs. Max Holloway
DK Salaries: Gaethje ($8,800), Holloway ($7,400)
What a fight! This one had me going back and forth. But the leg kicks and complete game will win this one for Justin Gaethje and earn him a decision. Not necessarily the best DK pick, but he could get it done.

Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan
DK Salaries: Oliveira ($7,500), Tsarukyan ($8,700)
This one comes down to age, in my opinion. Tsarukyan is as tough as they come and will likely try to pick the former champ in Oliveira apart. He has great wrestling, striking and everything in between. Lock in a TKO for Tsarukyan.

Bo Nickal vs. Cody Brundage
DK Salaries: Nickal ($9,500), Brundage ($6,700)
Simple — Bo Nickal will submit Cody Brundage. GAME, SET, MATCH.

UFC 300 ‘Prelims’ Card on ESPN/ESPN+ (8 p.m. ET):
Jiri Prochazka vs. Aleksandar Rakic
DK Salaries: Prochazka ($8,000), Rakic ($8,200)
There have been so many breakdowns on this fight and the internet is definitely lopsided. On paper, it looks like the former champ will win, but Rakic has more durability and will be able to finish Prochazka. He has more ways to win with very powerful leg kicks. he dog in this fight.

Calvin Kattar vs. Aljamain Sterling
DK Salaries: Kattar ($7,800), Sterling ($8,400)
It is Sterling’s first time in the division and will he be able to get to Kattar’s back. If he is unable to get the fight to the ground, Kattar’s boxing is amazing and his wrestling defense is great.

Kayla Harrison vs. Holly Holm
DK Salaries: Holm ($6,900), Harrison ($9,300)
Harrison will grind away a victory. She is very expensive but will win.

Sodiq Yusuff vs. Diego Lopes
DK Salaries: Yusuff ($7,700), Lopes ($8,500)
Yusuff is hard to pick against in this fight, but Lopes has more upside to get the job done early.

UFC 300 Early ‘Prelims’ Card on ESPN/ESPN+ (6 p.m. ET):
Jalin Turner vs. Renato Moicano
DK Salaries: Turner ($8,900), Moicano ($7,300)
Moicano is fun to watch, but Justin Turner is even more fun. Turner has more power on the feet and can get the job done early. For this, he is an easy pick in your DK lineup.

Jessica Andrade vs. Marina Rodriguez
DK Salaries: Andrade ($8,100), Rodriguez ($8,100)
A back-and-forth battle between two very heavy-handed women. Likely to go to a decision and with a coin toss, take Jessica Andrade.

Jim Miller vs. Bobby Green
DK Salaries: Green ($8,600), Miller ($7,600)
Tough, tough pick. Jim Miller has fought at UFC 100, UFC 200 and now UFC 300. Will he win, very hard to say. My gut is leaning Bobby Green in this fight, however, I feel from a DraftKings perspective, Miller has more finishing ability.

Cody Garbrandt vs. Deiveson Figueiredo

It seems as if Garbrandt is coming to the end of his career. This will serve in favor of Figeuredo, as he is just better all around.
