ONE Unveils 11-Bout Lineup For ONE Fight Night 22

On Friday, May 3, ONE Championship is back in U.S. primetime. ONE Fight Night 22 features 11 exciting contests covering four different martial arts. The event, airing free on Prime Video, will satisfy fans of any martial art.

Teen sensation Smilla Sundell will defend the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title in the main event. It will be Russia’s Natalia Diachkova who attempts to stop the Swede’s dominant run this time. A stunning upset will crown a new champion, or a rising star will continue her ascent as one of the sport’s most intriguing athletes.

Three additional Muay Thai bouts will take place on the card, including Sinsamut Klinmee and Dmitry Menshikov throwing down in the lightweight division. However, U.S. eyes may be more interested in the ONE debut of Sean Climaco. The Bay Area native won the Road to ONE tournament to punch his ticket to the global stage, and he will meet Josue Cruz in a flyweight contest.

In MMA action, Maurice Abevi and Zhang Lipeng will attempt to make noise in the lightweight division. Flyweight contenders Reece McLaren and Hu Yong will go toe-to-toe trying to establish themselves as title threats in 2024. In addition to those pivotal bouts, Chihiro Sawada meets Noelle Grandjean in an atomweight matchup, and Akbar Abdullaev takes on Halil Amir as the night’s co-main event.

There will also be two kickboxing battles on the docket. Hiroki Akimoto makes his return against Wei Rui for a bantamweight showdown, while Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong and Bogdan Shumarov throw leather earlier in the night. Not to be left out, submission grappling star Nanami Ichikawa tries to defeat BJJ World Champion Bianca Basilio.

ONE Fight Night 22 airs live on Friday, May 3. The action begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The event is free for all Amazon Prime subscribers based in the U.S. and Canada.
