ONE 167 will have a new main event on Friday, June 7. ONE Atomweight MMA World Champion Stamp Fairtex has been forced off the card due to injury. While Denice Zamboanga will remain on the card, Tawanchai PK Saenchai’s defense of the ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Title against “Smokin” Jo Nattawut is now the new main event.

During training, Stamp suffered a torn meniscus. The Thai star has undergone successful surgery, and her rehab may jeopardize her upcoming strawweight title bid at ONE 168: Denver. Stamp detailed how her injury occurred in a statement to ONE Championship.

“My sparring partner was behind me, and she was going to take me down. She grabbed my body and lifted me up, but since she is smaller than me, when she lifted me up, she couldn’t lift me that high, and my leg was still touching the ground. Then, she twisted. When she twisted, my leg was still touching the ground, so my knee got twisted. When it twisted, it made a loud noise. So, I stopped immediately and went for an MRI after that. [And the doctor said] my meniscus was torn,” Stamp told ONE.

The new main event will see Tawanchai and Nattawut go toe-to-toe in four-ounce gloves for their rematch from their 2023 kickboxing affair. The closely contested matchup left fans clamoring for more, and after both men notched wins, a Muay Thai title tilt was set. The electric main event will cap off a stacked night of action.

In her absence, Stamp is still imploring fans to support the amazing athletes set for ONE 167. Also on the card are notable talents such as Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Kade Ruotolo, and Mikey Musumeci. ONE 167 remains an incredible lineup for all martial arts fanatics. Zamboanga’s new opponent will be revealed in the coming days.

ONE 167 airs live on Friday, June 7, from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. The action begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The event is free for all Amazon Prime members in the U.S. and Canada.
