Alyse Anderson will try to get a little redemption in Denver, Colorado when she makes her ONE Championship return. She last competed against Stamp Fairtex at ONE Fight Night 10 and lost by TKO, but is motivated to erase that memory inside the Ball Arena. “Lil’ Savage” will meet Victoria Souza at ONE 168: Denver on Friday, September 6.

Both women have similar arcs heading into the huge fall event. They both lost their ONE debuts, picked up a win, and then dropped their third match. The struggle to find consistency will be a huge factor in the matchup.

However, Souza may already be back in the win column. The Brazilian has a date against Itsuki Hirata at ONE 167: Tawanchai vs. Nattawut II on Friday, June 7. After an earlier loss in 2024, Hirata and Anderson gives her a chance to rebound in a major way.

Anderson has competed against the division’s upper echelon and shown herself well. She did well against Stamp before the damaging liver shot. She was competitive with Hirata, nearly finishing the match before the final bell. In her win, Anderson dominated Asha Roka by first-round submission.

The stakes for the two women will be high. Gaining momentum on a huge platform will be a boost as they seek to charge up the atomweight rankings. And showing out in U.S. primetime will only further their case for contendership.

ONE 168 emanates from the Ball Arena in Denver on Friday, September 6. The stacked card will have multiple World Championship matches, with more incredible matches expected to be announced in the future. ONE’s U.S. return will air live on Prime Video.
