ONE Fight Night 23 has had a shakeup at the top of the card. Jackie Buntan withdrew from her title tilt with Anissa Meksen due to injury, leaving the July 5 main event slot open. The new top draw will be Ok Rae Yoon vs. Alibeg Rasulov for the ONE Interim Lightweight MMA World Championship.

The South Korean will look to get back to the top of the lightweight division with a win. Ok debuted with wins over Eddie Alvarez and Marat Gafurov before stunning Christian Lee to become the ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion. However, he would lose the title back to Lee in their return match.

ONE Fight Night 23 Gains New Main Event Slot

Ok got back in the win column against Lowen Tynanes in 2023. Ok proved he is still a top contender in the division with the dominant showing. Against Rasulov, the 33-year-old has a chance to set up a unification bout with his divisional rival.

The Turkish athlete makes his ONE Championship debut with a perfect 13-0 professional record. However, he jumps right into the fire against the former divisional king. Rasulov gets a golden opportunity to show his skills against the #1-ranked contender in the division in his biggest match to date.

The winner of the match will guarantee their shot at Lee upon his return. Lumpinee Boxing Stadium will be rocking with the interim belt on the line, and “The Warrior” will be watching intently from afar. The stakes have risen at ONE Fight Night 23.

ONE Fight Night 23 airs live on Prime Video on Friday, July 5, from Bangkok. The action begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The event is free for all Amazon Prime members based in the U.S. and Canada.
