Aung La N Sang last took to the ONE Championship Circle at ONE Fight Night 10 in Denver. He will return to the Mile High City for his next trip down the aisle. Awaiting him will be Shamil Erdogan at ONE 168: Denver on Friday, September 6.

“The Burmese Python” is trying to get back to the middleweight throne. He has defeated Yushin Okami, Gilberto Galvao, and Fan Rong on his trek back up the mountain. One more win could net the Myanmar superstar the coveted title shot.

However, Erdogan will be trying to steal his thunder. The former Turkish Olympic Freestyle Wrestling member made a successful ONE debut against Fan at ONE Friday Fights 22. With a perfect 9-0 professional record, a win over Aung La N Sang would elevate him to the division’s upper echelon.

With Anatoly Malykhin at the helm of the middleweight division, both men will need to show their power. Given their recent knockouts and finish rates, that should be a given. The judges may not be required for this MMA contest at the Ball Arena.

The match will bring more power to the lineup that already features multiple World Title bouts at the top of the card. Now, middleweight title implications join the event with two exciting sluggers who have every incentive to leave an impression. Denver will play host to another exciting event as ONE returns to the United States this fall.

ONE 168: Denver goes down from the Ball Arena on Friday, September 6. The event begins at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Prime Video. Tickets for the event are now on sale via Ticketmaster.
