Adrian Lee made a successful professional debut at ONE 167 in June. On Friday, September 6, the youngest member of the Lee family will return at ONE 168: Denver. The 18-year-old will face Nicholas Cornejo, who is 16 years his elder.
Lee will not be concerned with that age gap. The talented Prodigy Training Center star has grown up on the mats alongside his siblings and has international experience as an amateur. In his debut, he got a second-round submission win against Antonio Mammarella.

But Cornejo will pose new issues for the young gun. The lightweight athlete is 2-0 in his career but has plenty of success in the amateur ranks as well. With more life experience, Cornejo will be looking to make an instant impact in his ONE Championship debut.
A win over Lee would set him off on the right foot within ONE and could put him on a path to contend for the gold. As a lightweight, Christian Lee reigns over the division as the current titleholder. Beating his younger brother would make for an interesting story and thus gives Cornejo a quicker path to punching a golden ticket.
Getting the victory over the teen will be easier said than done. Christian has often stated that Adrian is the most talented in the family. He has excelled at every level: as a Hawaiian State Wrestling Champion, multiple-time Pankration World Champion, and winning amateur gold as well.
The lightweight MMA scrap is another exciting addition to a stacked card for ONE’s return to Denver. ONE 168 emanates from the Ball Arena on Friday, September 6. The event will air live on Prime Video at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
