The first MMA event after the Labor Day holiday happens on this Tuesday night. This evening, the UFC Apex is the site for week four of season eight in Dana White’s Contender Series

Tonight, 10 more prospects set foot inside the Apex to impress UFC CEO Dana White as they try for a contract in the sport’s top promotion. As usual, five fights take place.

Main Event

At the top of the bill tonight is a welterweight fight pitting Igor Cavalcanti (9-0 MMA) against Ko Seok Hyun (10-2 MMA). This is a three-round affair at five minutes per round.

Co-Main Event

Immediately beforehand, the co-headliner sees middleweights go to battle as Cage Warriors alumnus Will Currie (12-3 MMA) takes on Djorden Santos (9-1 MMA).

Rest of the Card

Also on the card tonight, you’ll see a featherweight affair pairing Austin Bashi (12-0 MMA) with Dorian Ramos (8-2 MMA), a women’s flyweight bout between Yuneisy Duben (4-0, 1 NC MMA) and Shannon Clark (5-0 MMA), and a lightweight contest versing Quillan Salkilld (6-1 MMA) against Gauge Young (8-1 MMA.)

Austin Bashi def. Dorian Ramos by Submission (Rear-Naked Choke) at 3:15 into Round 2. Bashi awarded UFC contract.

Yuneisy Duben def. Shannon Clark by KO (Overhand Right) at 1:13 into Round 1. Duben awarded UFC contract.

Quillan Salkilld def. Gauge Young by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28.) Salkilld awarded UFC contract.
