PFL Drops Ngannou vs. Ferreira Promo

Battle Of The Giants

PFL have released the full promotional film for the Battle of the Giants: Brace for Impact pay-per-view event which takes place on Oct. 19 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The card will be headlined by the long-awaited promotional debut of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, as he takes on the 2023 PFL heavyweight champion Renan Ferreira.

This will be Ngannou’s first MMA fight since his decision victory over Cyril Gane at UFC 270 in January of 2022. His drawn-out contract dispute with the UFC, followed by his high-profile detour into the world of boxing, have delayed his PFL debut but “The Predator” is finally ready to strap on the 4-ounce gloves once again.

A Formidable Opponent

Renan Ferreira awaits Ngannou, riding an impressive 4-fight winning streak in the SmartCage. He was last seen in action when he decimated Bellator champion Ryan Bader in just 21 seconds back in February.

The card also features a champ vs. champ fight between Cris Cyborg and Larissa Pacheco in the co-main event slot, while Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen rematches Fabian Edwards after first beating the Englishman at Bellator 299 just over a year ago.

The main card is rounded out by the PFL debut of former Brave CF standout Husein Kadimagomaev who takes on Zafar Mohsen, and a fascinating match-up between Bellator superstar AJ McKee and former Cage Warriors champion Paul Hughes.
