If that isn’t a showdown Brazilian fans want to see, i don’t know what is. No date, location or event has been named yet, however this would be a fantastic fight to throw on the UFC 148 card since Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen are no longer fighting in front of the Brazilians.

Wow! We had all heard the rumblings of this fight going down, but nothing was announced. This is a big step up in competition for Lombard, who has been undefeated since 2007. It was only confirmed on April 24 that Lombard had been signed by the UFC and immediately he called out UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Do you think the winner of this fight gets a title shot?
