MMASucka’s Bellator 221 Staff Picks

MMASucka’s staff picks are back for the third time in this action-packed weekend. Bellator 221 takes place tonight from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The card will be streamed exclusively on DAZN, with the main kicking off at 9:00 pm ET. Also, be sure to check out our staff picks for tonight’s UFC 237 event.

Bellator 221 is a stacked fight card that has been generating a bunch of hype. The card’s main event features a champion vs. champion match-up. Lightweight champion Michael Chandler will put his title on the line against current featherweight champion Patricio Pitbull in what is sure to be an incredible fight. In the co-main event, Douglas Lima will take on the undefeated welterweight Michael Page in first welterweight grand prix semifinal. The winner of their fight will take on either Rory MacDonald or Neiman Gracie in the championship for the title.

Bellator 219 Staff Picks

Throughout the year, staff picks will be composed of four different MMA promotions: UFCBellatorONE, and RIZIN. Main cards will make up both UFC and Bellator picks, while the biggest fights to make up ONE and RIZIN events will be used. The WINNER of staff picks will have a choice between receiving a championship belt from ProAmBelts or a championship chain from Championship Chains. The 2018 winner was awarded to Michael DeSantis, compiling a record of 202-101.
