Tickets for UFC 147: Belfort vs. Silva on sale this Thursday

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil – Brazilian fans will soon be able to purchase tickets for UFC®147, the historical event at the Mineirinho Arena in Belo Horizonte on Saturday, June 23, featuring the first-ever The Ultimate Fighter Brazil® Finale and long-awaited middleweight bout between long-time rivals and current TUF coaches. Tickets go on sale to the public this Thursday, May 24, exclusively on www.ticketsforfun.com.br.

The main event of the evening will be the long-awaited five-round rematch between UFC legends and TUF Brazil coaches Vitor Belfort and Wanderlei Silva. The co-main bout will feature heavyweight stand-outs Fabrício Werdum and Mike Russow, both coming off wins in their last fight. Fans will also witness the exciting featherweight and middleweight finals of the first international edition of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil®series.

The finalists of each weight division featured on the reality show, which will air its last episode on Sunday, June 17 before the PPV event, will face off on the main card. The winners will be declared The Ultimate Fighters and win lucrative contracts with the UFC.

Tickets for UFC® 147: BELFORT vs. SILVA, go on sale Thursday, May 24 at 8 p.m. BRT and are priced at: Premium Octagon® (R$ 1.200 / 600 – half price), Octagon®(R$ 700 / R$ 350 – half price), Premium Seats (R$ 700 / R$ 350 – half-price), Seats (R$ 450 / R$ 225 – half price), Stands (R$ 220 / R$ 110 – half-price). Tickets will also be available for purchase by individuals with international credit cards.

 

UFC® 147: BELFORT vs. SILVA will be available live on Pay-Per-View Saturday, June 23 at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT on UFC.TV, iN DEMAND, DirecTV, DISH Network, Avail-TVN, and in Canada on BellTV, Shaw Communications, Sasktel, and Viewer’s Choice Canada for a suggested retail price of $44.99 US/$49.99 CAN for Standard Definition and $54.99 US/$59.99 CAN for High Definition.
