Bibiano Fernandes is added to UFC 149

MMASucka.com has learned that Dream Bantamweight Champion Bibiano “The Flash” Fernandes (11-3) has been added to UFC 149. The former Dream star will be facing Canadian Roland Delorme (8-1) at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta on July 21st. This is a long overdue signing and will no doubt add some more intrigue to a card that took a big hit last week with the loss of Thiago Alves and Thiago Silva from their respective bouts. Bibiano is from Brazil but relocated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Fernandes last fought in December of 2011 when he defeated Antonio Banuelos at “Fight For Japan” to win the Bantamweight title. Delorme last fought on May 5th at UFC on FOX 3 when he beat Nick Denis via rear naked choke in round one. Should be a fantastic fight.
