Stamp Fairtex Returns at ONE: No Surrender for Historic MMA Bid

Stamp Fairtex returns to mixed martial arts action at ONE: No Surrender on July 31. The Thai star welcomes an undefeated prospect to the organization as she attempts to rebound after her last outing.

Stamp’s bid for history as a three-sport world champion hit a roadblock. American Janet Todd snatched her ONE Atomweight Kickboxing World Championship by a narrow split decision earlier this year. However, Stamp still holds the Muay Thai crown and sports an undefeated 4-0 professional MMA record.

The 22-year-old phenom has been nothing short of impressive in her short career.

Her mixed martial arts debut came in ONE Warrior Series when she won in just 19 seconds by a stunning head kick against Rashi Shinde. Less than a month later, Stamp moved to the main ONE roster against Asha Roka and notched her first submission victory.

The striking sensation followed that up with a decision over Bi Nguyen at ONE: Masters of Fate.

She continued her streak against Puja Tomar with a dominant first-round TKO in January.

While Stamp’s star continues to rise, she is still growing and developing her all-around game. It makes each of her outings in the ONE Circle intriguing. How much will she grow? Will her opposition seize the moment and steal her thunder?

She is as charismatic as she is talented. It is why fans gravitate towards her. And she puts in the work to achieve her dreams.

Her opponent on July 31, Sunisa Srisen, has the opportunity to make a big splash in her ONE debut. She has finished all three of her opponents on the Thailand regional circuit, but now she will meet a true star on a global stage. It is a tall order, but she has nothing to lose.

A win for Stamp will help to erase the taste of defeat she suffered against Todd while continuing her on a path toward the ONE Atomweight World Championship. A future meeting against Angela Lee would undoubtedly be one of the highlights in the women’s division in 2020. Two personable, talented, and exciting warriors going toe-to-toe.

The match-up at ONE: No Surrender has more at stake than what meets the eye because of Stamp’s future goals.

She lives with the pressure of a champion each time out. The expectations are high.

With each bout, fans see more of what she is capable of as a mixed martial artist. July 31 will be no different, and it will also show off her ability to overcome a loss. A glimpse into her mindset in these uncertain times facing adversity she rarely comes across.
