Mexicutioner back in the UFC against Te-Huna at UFC on FUEL TV 4

Joey “the Mexicutioner” Beltran has been given his second opportunity into the UFC, this time in the light heavyweight division.  He will face the heavy handed New Zealand native, James Te-Huna on the UFC on FUEL TV 4 card, July 11.

Beltran will be taking the place of his Alliance MMA teammate, Brandon Vera, who was promoted to headline UFC on FOX 4 on August 4th against Maurício “Shogun” Rua.

Beltran had been cut from the UFC after a 2 fight losing skid in the heavyweight division.  Beltran decided to make the cut to light heavyweight, and won his debut fight against Anton Talamante at C3 Fights in Oklahoma by decision.

Te-Huna is on a 2 fight winning streak, knocking out Ricardo Romer and TKO’ing Aaron Rosa both in the first round.
