Bryan Barberena Is Ready For Any And Everybody

Bryan Barberena recently went to social media to call for a fight. That fight was any and everybody that is ready at fight island.

Barberena has been fighting professionally since 2009 and has been fighting for the UFC since 2014. He has a record of 15-7 going 6-5 inside the UFC octagon. His wins include guys like Joe and Jake Ellenberger, Sage Northcutt, and most recently, Anthony Ivy. Ten of his 15 wins coming by way of knockout. Barberena is by far one of the top MMA fighters coming out of the Carolinas.

The Tweets

This week, Barberena made some interesting tweets about his fighting future. He announced that he will be traveling to Fight Island to corner his teammate Impa Kasanganay in his bout against Joaquin Buckley on October 10th. Barberena made it known to the boss, Dana White that he would be ready to fill in for any fights while he was there. Stating, “I am ready to fight and actively looking to get on a card. So if a fight opens up while I’m there at 170/185 or above I’m your guy!”

Possible Fights

Bryan Barberena has already got a few chances to fill in. Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos is out of his bout with Shavkat Rakhmonov. Barberena made sure to tweet out that he would be happy to replace Dos Santos. Per Rakhmonov’s manager, Sayat Abdrakhmanov, they are ready to accept the fight. Barberena has also thrown around the idea that he would be okay with fighting Khazmat Chimaev at Fight Island. There is still a ton of fights at middleweight and welterweight that will take place on Fight Island. With the current state of Covid-19, Barberena has a very good chance of landing a fight if he stays in Abu Dhabi.
