On August 18, Ronda Rousey will put her Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Championship on the line against the number one contender, Sarah Kaufman.
Kaufman (15-1) is the former champion and her only loss was when she lost her title to Marloes Coenen back in 2010. Since then she has gone on a three fight win streak.
Rousey (5-0) is undefeated in her mixed martial arts career, with all of her victories coming in the first round by way of armbar. She won the title in her last fight, when she defeated the very dangerous Miesha Tate. The armbar in that fight was so gruesome that she dislocated Tate’s arm.
