Quintet Fight Night 6 Results

Quintet makes its 2021 debut with Quintet Fight Night 6 at EX Theater Roppongi in Tokyo, Japan. Quintet is a unique and exciting team grappling event. Two people from each team will grapple with the winner staying on the mat to face another member of the other team. In the event of a draw, where no submission is completed after eight minutes (or four if there is a 7kg weight difference between opponents), both grapplers are eliminated. The winning team is the team with grapplers remaining.

Quintet Fight Night 6 is a women’s competition, where each team’s combined weight across five grapplers must be under 280kg, or approximately 617 pounds. Each team features some of Japan’s best grapplers, and they will all be fighting for bragging rights over each other. The card also features three matchups outside of the team bouts. Most notably, Quintet founder Kazushi Sakuraba‘s son, known as Saku Jr., will be taking on Kazuhiro Suzuki in a special rules match.

Quintet Fight Night 6 can be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass starting at 3:40 AM EST/12:40 AM PST. Keep it locked to MMASucka for Quintet Fight Night 6 results and updates all morning long.
