Two Amazing Clashes to Headline the Card!

The co-main event is also a heck of a fight as Reggie Barnett Jr. will welcome DeMarcus Corley to the world of bare-knuckle boxing. “Chop Chop” Corley is a veteran of 85 professional boxing matches. He has an absolute wealth of experience and will be looking to transition into BKFC. Barnett Jr. has a record of 5-1 inside of BKFC and is one of the more dominant fighters. It should be a great fight. Below is a video from the Bare Knuckle FC 16 weigh-ins to get you hyped up.

In the main event, Leonard Garcia weighed in at 165.2 while Joe Elmore tipped the scales at a ready 165 pounds. It’s an amazing main event that features two men who simply don’t know how to back up and will undoubtedly stand in a phonebooth and fire shots until someone sleeps. Don’t miss the action on BKFC App or right here at MMA Sucka with your fight-by-fight recaps.

BKFC 16 Results – Main Card

Leonard Garcia def. Joe Elmore via Unanimous Decision (49-46 & 50-45 x 2)

Recap: Crazy first round as Leonard Garcia came out and landed some big shots early on. Big right hand nearly dropped Elmore ana a left hand opened up a nasty cut to the left the eye. Elmore landed a few big shots to close the round. Great action. Unbelievably Garcia is just walking through the heavy shots from Elmore and landed his own power shots. This is a great fight! The third round was another close round with both men landing big shots. The canvas is turning red from the blood as both fighters are wearing the damage. I’d hate to be a judge for this fight.

We opened round four much like we closed the third. Both men firing shots and ignoring the power shos they were eating. This fight was like the best fight you’d see this weekend. Both men are just throwing bombs and eating haymakers. We are heading into the final round and this one has been crazy!

Fifth and final rounds and both men were right back at it throwing hammers at close range. Both men slug it out and as the bell rang to end the fight, both men embraced and celebrated the beautiful violence they just displayed. Crazy fight. Nobody loses a fight like that.

Reggie Barnett Jr. def. DeMarcus Corley via TKO (Corner Stoppage) at 2:00 of Round 4

Recap: Barnett looking to clinch over and over in the first round. The referee warned Barnett for stalling via the clinch. Not much happened in the first round. Barnett ate a series of uppercuts and clinched Corley and the two hit the canvas. Corley landed the more damaging shots in the second while Barnett clinched repeatedly. The third round was a better round for Barnett Jr. as he landed some nice uppercuts and seemed to hurt Corley.

This is a close fight heading into round 4. More of the same in the fourth round for Barnett. Corley is not able to land much as Barnett closed the distance and walked him down time and again. Corley is unable to continue after the fourth round and the fight is called. Odd ending.

Arnold Adams def. Bobo O’Bannon via TKO (Strikes) at 1:58 of Round 1

Recap: O’Bannon seems heavier than in previous bouts. O’Bannon took a low blow and that caused a break in the action. After the break, O’Bannon got hit by some big shots and dropped to the canvas. Adams looked very impressive in his return bout to BKFC.

Kaleb Harris def. Noah Cutter via TKO (Dr. Stoppage) at 2:00 of Round 1

Recap: Both men came out firing but Harris was able to sit down on his shots more and do more damage. Cutter came forward and was very aggressive, but Harris was the better striker and landed the better of the shots. The doctor took a long look at Cutter between rounds and determined that it couldn’t continue.

Scott O’Shaughnessy def. Melvin Guillard via TKO (Strikes) at 0:46 of Round 1

Recap: This one was pretty odd. O’Shaughnessey landed a shot that nearly sat Guillard down, but Guillard was in a crouched position. O’Shaughnessey landed a series of right hands, and the referee jumped in and stopped the bout. It should have been ruled a knockdown, but instead, Guillard was allowed to take shots before the questionable stoppage. Not a great job officiating, to say the least.

Jason Fish def. Adrian Miles via TKO (Strikes) at 1:20 of Round 3

Recap: Fish was the more active fighter in the first round. He attempted to load up and land the right hand, but it never landed. Miles seemed happy to counterpunch and try and burn Fish out. Miles landed some solid shots in the second and cut Fish between the eyes. Fish seemed to be getting frustrated as the round closed. Fish amped up the pressure in the third round and dropped Miles with a series of right hands. Miles was slow to get up and didn’t look like he wanted to continue. The referee stopped the fight.

David Diaz def. Spencer Ruggeri via Majority Decision (47-47, 48-45 x2)

Recap: Fast and furious action to start the fight. The fighters stood toe to toe and threw haymakers throughout the first round. Ruggeri did a good job clinching and landing uppercuts while Diaz worked the body effectively Great fight but in the fifth round, Ruggeri had a point deduction for throwing a backfist.

BKFC 16 Results – Prelims

Elvin Brito def. Brad Kelly via Unanimous Decision

Zion Tomlinson def. Tyler Hill via TKO (Strikes) at 1:40 of Round 1

Ryan Jones def. Eric Thompson via TKO (Broken Hand) at 2:00 of Round 2
