UFC Vegas 40 Results

The saying goes that “cats have nine lives” and that may also be true for Aspen Ladd as well because after missing weight just two weeks ago she is now in a main event bout with Norma Dumont. The bout goes down on Saturday evening and we will have full UFC Vegas 40 results for you all night long.

UFC Vegas 40 Results

Ladd has been a prospect that the UFC has been giving a big push to for a while but when she is constantly losing weight and has only fought once in the last two years due to injuries and weight cutting issues. For Norma Dumont, this fight serves as a major chance for her to earn some big props with the UFC by crashing the Ladd party. Dumont is riding a two-fight win streak but a win over Ladd would not only extend that to three but also get her a fight or two away from a title shot.

In the co-main event, fans get the veteran Andrei Arlovski making another walk to the octagon against another young heavyweight prospect Carlos Felipe. Arlovski won’t be getting a title shot anytime soon but to say what he’s able to achieve at his age, in the heavyweight division especially, is uber impressive. Felipe is hoping he can get back into his knockout ways that earned him a shot in the UFC and Arlovski may be able to oblige that.

The rest of the card has some fun matchups and historic matchups, in the case of Jim Miller versus Erick Gonzalez, so this could be one of those cards on paper we go “eh” and that afterwards, we won’t stop talking about it because of how the fights delivered.

All the fights can be found on ESPN+ with both the main and preliminary cards taking place on the network and the action starting at 4:30 PM ET/ 1:30 PM PT.
